God created you to know Him in a personal way—to have a real relationship through His Son, Jesus Christ. This isn’t about religion or rules; it’s about life with Him. Through Jesus, you can be forgiven, made new, and live with hope and purpose.
The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
God’s love is not distant or conditional—it’s personal. He knows you by name, and He sent Jesus to rescue you from sin and give you eternal life.
Our sin separates us from God. The Bible says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). No amount of good works, religion, or self-effort can bridge that gap. That’s why we need a Savior.
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Jesus took the punishment we deserved, died in our place, and rose from the dead to give us new life. He is “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). Through Him, we can be made right with God.
Recognize your need for a Savior and acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of God's forgiveness. (Romans 3:23)
Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and rose from the dead, offering you eternal life and salvation. (John 3:16)
Repent of your sins, turning away from a life lived apart from God, and confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior. (Acts 3:19)
Invite Jesus into your heart and life, surrendering to His lordship and allowing Him to guide and transform you. (Revelation 3:20)
Commit to following Jesus as your Lord and Savior, seeking to live a life that honors and glorifies Him in all that you do. (Luke 9:23)
It’s not about saying the perfect words, but about the posture of your heart before God. What matters is that you truly mean what you say to Him. Here’s an example of how you might pray:
“Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and I need You. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. Today, I turn from my sin and trust You as my Lord and Savior. Lead me and help me live for You from this day forward. Amen.”
If you prayed that from your heart, we’d love to know so we can encourage you in your next steps.
Following Jesus is a lifelong journey. Here are three ways to start growing right now:
